iDRIVER is hiring an experienced AZ Flatbed Driver for a full-time flatbed and live-haul position operating out of Grand Valley, approximately 15 minutes west of Orangeville. Job Details: Pay: $40 per hour + HST for live-haul work/ $35 per hour + HST for local work Schedule: Approximately 55–60 hours per week Start time: Early morning or afternoon, depending on client needs Starting location: Grand Valley, ON Drivers must be available for both routes; there is no option to choose one route Route 1: Local construction deliveries across the GTA Delivery of crane parts to construction sites No strapping or tarping; chaining only Regular and blindside backing required Route 2: Live Haul Pick up live chickens from farms and deliver them to the facility in Mississauga Routes can extend as far as Pennsylvania, Connecticut and New York Afternoon departure followed by an 11–13 hour drive to the farm Overnight stay at the farm, followed by morning loading and return trip Dedicated work with no waiting times or layovers Local work may be provided to bring drivers up to approximately 50 hours when needed Company willing to train the right candidate on flatbed truck operation Paid weekly, two weeks back Requirements: Valid Ontario AZ licence Verifiable AZ driving experience Comfortable driving both local flatbed and live-haul routes Able to perform regular and blindside backing Comfortable with chaining loads Reliable, punctual and flexible with varying start times Willing and able to handle overnight live-haul trips
